After she said his name the feeling quickly retreated. Maybe it was just all in her head. She had lost all the color and now her mind was going too.
Her eyes watered and she let her head turn back so that it was facing foreword. How much more could she take? She was already broken as it was. How much longer was it going to be before she lost touch with reality completely.
She let out a little sob. It had been a nice delusion. She should have just let it continue.

Cyan watched as her temporary joy turned back into depression. What was he suppose to do. He wanted to stay right here... but it wasn't his mission. How much he wanted to say damn with the mission. He couldn't do it though. He was given life despite not completely believing what was now obviously true. God existed and he was saved.
His angelic wings ruffled up as he tried to think of a logical course of action. Instead, fate took it into its own hands. A feather released itself from where it should be. It took to the wind and landed just before Miharu. It was smaller then some of his feathers, but it was still part of his primary feathers. The pure white feather was over five inches long and nearly two inches wide.

Miharu bliked as something white flew in to her vision. Was it...A feather? She stared at it for a moment. A big white feather.....
Slowly she reached out. Her fingers brushed it gently. It was so soft.... She hesitantly picked up the feather and straightened up. She brushed the fingers of her other hand against it.
What did it all mean? Was she wrong was she right?

He knew nothing, thus could think of nothing. Cyan hid his face into his hands, the hands that now had a smell of Haru on them. It was a pleasant smell, despite having a slight odor to it. The one thing that brought him out of his near wrecking state was the fact that her sobs quieted suddenly.
Cyan looked up and saw her holding one of his feathers. How did that happen? Did he occasionally leave feathers just like a regular bird would? It would make sense if he did. But what did that mean for Miharu? She now had physical proof of him... Technically that was bad to, but this one seemed a bit more innocent.

She brushed her fingers on the feather again. A big white feather. It would be obvious to anyone where her mind had lept.
An angel? But why here... why now? Or was she just trying to look for signs to hard? But that hand.
Miharu turned round again. Still there was nothing there. Was he still there? She blinked again as she tried to sort this all out.
If it was an angel was it him? Why would he be here though? None of this was making any sense. Probably she was trying to look for anything to try and cheer herself off. The feather though, the feather was very real....

Even through the tears were still leaking from his eyes he couldn't help but feel a little better. She was thinking he was there. That gave him a warm feeling. Even thinking just being around her without her being able to see him was making that warm feeling intensify.
But he couldn't do any more without doing something really stupid. And now he really lost where those kids have gone. His sense of responsibility was returning and he couldn't stop it or else he'll feel guilty about it later.
Cyan jumped into the air and purposely whirled the wind around her and as close as he could to be just around her. If he gave any more hints, he might as well be appearing before her.

Miharu brought her hand up to keep her hair from flying in to her face. Her eyes were scanning every were as she tried to find the place were the wind was coming from. In the end she completely failed. But somehow, she felt better.
After the breeze had died down Miharu ended up going home. From then on everything was about the same. She went home and her dad was passed out on the couch. She went back up to her room and carefully placed the feather on a shelf. She went back to her bed and stared at it until she fell asleep.
From then on she was hoping that it would happen again. The next few days seemed to go both to slowly and to quickly. She went back to the park a couple of times, but still there was nothing.
So Miharu ended up sinking right back in to her usual depression. On her way back from the park yet again she decided that she didn't want to go home yet. So she changed direction and just started to walk.

So all Cyan had to do was make sure he could do two jobs at once. That was all! However, doing two jobs at once meant he had to have them both close to each other in order for them to work.
The Guardian Angel was beginning to think that he was being punished for what he had done nearly a week ago. Since then he hadn't been in the city, he had been in ones across the country. Each of his training missions dealt with children, protecting them from one thing or another. Lately he had been deflecting cars in a way that made it appear natural. He never would have guessed how many children were hit by cars in this country.
It took till he had a mission back in his home city that he realized how stupid he was. There were billions of cities in the United States, why would they keep him in the same city for training? Either way he was here again.
Instead of going straight to his mission he wandered the city. He was, getting the feel of the place he'll say. It wasn't going to be too hard for him to find her.

The sun was setting but Miharu didn't really care much. She knew this city by heart and knew what places to stay away from. Or at least she did when she was paying attention, which she wasn't.
It wasn't long before the little Japanese girl was in a place he probably shouldn't be in. It was a little while before she thought to check were she was and when she did she was unpleasantly surprised.
Looking around she quickly changed courses to head in the direction of home. Well, she thought that she did anyway. Within a few minuets she was hopelessly lost.

That was odd. He had expected to run into her by now. It wasn't hard for him to find someone lost, but perhaps it is because this is Miharu and where he assumed she'd be is not where she was. With how long he has been dead, she has sure changed a lot. If only it was for the better.
Cyan glided over the streets not being seen by anyone. His shadow didn't touch the ground and any insects went right through him. However, he couldn't feel the wind at all. The only side effect to this quick way of travel. Right now, that was the least of his concerns.
Where was she?
He started to go toward the shadier sides of town till eventually he found her. But what was she doing here?

Miharu whimpered softly to herself as she looked around and realized that she had no idea were she was. She leaned against a wall and tried to remember the route she had taken to get there.
No luck. She had been completely sure that she knew were she was going and hadn't payed attention. She couldn't even get back to were she started now.
Her foot tapped nervously as she tried to think of what to do. She had cell phone but that wasn't going to help anything. Even if he dad picked up he wouldn't come get her. And once she got home h would just hit her for being out so late.
She closed her eyes, trying n to cry. How had she gotten herself in to this mess?

Cyan gave a small relieved laugh as he landed. This might have been the only time that her tears actually made him a little happy. He laid his hand on her shoulder only to stop it where it should. He couldn't feel her, and she couldn't feel him. But his eyes kept him from feeling bad about it.
"How did you get out here, Haru-chan?" he said to her, but mainly to himself. Maybe he was going insane, but he found himself talking to those he was watching a lot. "I'll get you back home," he said with a smile.
He was getting better leading someone without knowing that they were being leaded. But he didn't want to be unknown. Solidifying the palm of his hand he brushed it through her hair.

She gasped in surprise and her eyes shot open. She looked around, excepting to see some stranger smirking at her. It was just like the first time in the park. She felt the hand but nobody was there.
Slowly her breathing calmed down and she leaned against the wall again. She relaxed a little more and a little smile even came to her face.
"Konichiwa." She greeted the presence quietly. Whether it was Cyan or not it was a word that most people knew of Japanese anyway.

"Konichiwa, Haru-chan," Cyan said though she could not hear him. It was as if he spoke another language just people didn't look at him odd. Also, there was no hope in them understanding him.
He softly took her hand and gave it a shake. He didn't care any more. She believed in God, she knew this was a work of angels, so what was he to fear?

She looked down at her hand. The smile was getting bigger. She felt a lot safer now even though she was still technically alone. The pressure of the hand was reassuring and she imagined that it was familiar as well.
It made her feel a lot better to think that it was Cyan and who knows it might really be. Though why he would be here she didn't know.
