His hand slipped from hers in a fleeting but leading way. Within a few steps he started banging on a trash can. It wasn't his intention that there was actually a stray cat feasting on the discarded food. Seconds later the thin thing jumped from the trash can and ran off.
"Sorry!" Cyan called after it. The cat gave him a look and continued running. Figures. He forgot that animals have an idea of the supernatural, at least better then humans do. The cat knew he was there and the cat was now going to haunt him for the rest of his life some how.

She was less than happy when the hand left her. But when the it started to bang the trash can she got the idea. "You know the way back home?"
It was a stupid question to ask for many reasons. One being that her question probably wouldn't be answered. She wal toward it though until she reached the trash can.
After that she waited. This was the most normal she had felt in a long time. Which was funny considering that normally she would never be in this part of town and wouldn't be following something she couldn't see.

Cyan then had an idea. He picked up a piece of paper up off the ground. He folded it half into a 'hot dog' then again into a 'hamburger'. He then used it as a head. The paper head then nodded twice before falling to the ground.
He fleeted ahead and started spinning the flag on a mailbox. On the grime on the mailbox he wrote 'Hi'.

She actually laughed at the paper head nodding. The sound almost scared her. It sounded odd to her. She hadn't laughed since Cyan had died.
Her hand went to her mouth. Miharu didn't know if she wanted to stop it or keep on laughing. After a minuet it passed and she kept on going toward the mailbox. She looked at the Hi written in the grime and smiled.
It was definitely real. Either that or she really was going insane. But if this was what being insane was going to be like she didn't really mind.

That was a good sound. She was laughing, and he had caused it. He continued down the path and made another commotion of some kind. It wasn't only her laughing, he was also laughing. This was odd, even though she couldn't see him, it was as if she could. With his hints, he might as well be.
At a certain distance he solidified his feet. He didn't wear any shoes so the dirt between his feet was odd. He started to do an odd dance in the leaves.

There was still a big smile on her face and she walked to the leaves. It looked like a breeze was rustling them even though there was no wind.
Her feet hit the leaves too and she giggled a little bit. It reminded her of fun days of playing in the leaves. Still laughing she reached for her camera before remembering that it wasn't there.
Her smile faded. For the first time in a long while she felt incomplete without her camera. It seemed so stupid now not to have taken it with her.

If he wasn't sure about it before he was definately sure about it now. Cyan was still completely in love with her. Was this the definition of true love, not being seperated even though one is dead? It was a fun concept.
He picked up a leaf and blew it into her face, or at least attempted to.

When Miharu looked back up a leaf was coming at her face. She squeaked but then the leaf changed direction and fluttered to the ground.
She laughed yet again and it hurt her a little it since she wasn't used to it. She really wished that she could.... well maybe she kind of could.
Miharu picked up a big handful of the leaves and lobbed them in the general direction of were the leaf had come from.

Cyan watched the leaves come at him and in a few short seconds he had to learn something he hadn't taught himself yet. He took a deep breath and solidified the surface of his body. It was hard not to just show himself completely.
The environment around him rushed through his senses and he stepped back as his brain tried to process them all. The leaves were painful against his skin, his body not yet use to the normal pain of the surroundings, but he still laughed. You couldn't feel two opposite emotions at the same time, so the pain went away shortly.
The leaves conformed to his body then dropped to the ground. The leaves that had been caught in his wings or on top of him in any sort of way also fell to the ground as he released solid form.

She wanted her camera again in the brief moment that the leaves were up in the air. It was weird though to be playing with someone that she couldn't see.
Her hand reached again but this time it didn't dampen her mood when her hand didn find a camera. There was one leaf that was still stuck to her hand and she shook it off.

Dust now was all over his skin and it felt weird. He was use to being so clean. Completely invisible he dusted off his skin but as he did so he remembered the feeling of the leaves... and remembered when they had done the similar thing before.
He took up two leaves and started back peddling waving them around trying to imitate that they were in the wind. It was rather hard when he couldn't feel the wind (and the wind was going the opposite direction (and there was no wind to begin with)).
Cyan almost wanted her to stay lost. This was rather fun... But he couldn't do that. He was suppose to be watching a few children, and if one of them died because of this... it would be his head.

She followed the leaves this time. This was a very fun way to be lead home. Though she wished that she could see who it was. Somehow she still felt alone. Not as alone as she had felt but still alone.
When she caught up Miharu reached out. She was to curious for her own good probably. She reached for one of the leaves. How close could she actually get?

Cyan playfully tried to keep the leaf away from her. It was easy not having to worry about what was behind him, or where his feet went. If there was a hole, he'd step right over it, if there was a ledge, he'd step through it. It was a quiet useful trick sometimes.
He already was thinking about what he should he let her touch him? There would be no problem if she did. There was nothing she could do to him now that the hasn't already done.
If she came close enough, he would, he decided. If not this was their little game.

This really was a lot of fun. It had been while since she had done anything like this. The two of them used to have so much fun.
Speeding up Miharu went after the leaf a little more seriously. She was seriously wondering if she would be allowed to catch it.
She reached out again and made a little leap for it. Her hand closed around it.

It was nice being able to interact with someone other than by pushing them out of the way of a car or pushing a car away from them. It was beyond nice that he was about to interact with Miharu. It almost felt as if she could actually see him. They were laughing together, playing with the leaves.
Eventually she caught the leaf and his hand. Instantly he froze. His hand was solid enough that her fingers held his invisible fingers (well to her invisible). Cyan's heart leaped. Slowly his fingers came out from her hand and gently held her fingers.
